This summer, find yourself in a tranquil corner of the island at Almanack Arts Colony with buckets of Nantucket grown blooms to design with.
After being welcomed in and grounded by Lo of LoLo Event Design, Sally and Aber of Nantucket Flower Collective will guide you through a floral arrangement demonstration. These workshops will teach the art of arranging by working with attendees to arrange their own large statement pieces with all Nantucket grown flowers. We will focus on floral selection, the value of seasonal narrative, and after care to better extend the vase life of local blooms, while offering one on one support. Workshops will occur on June 11th, July 21st, August 13th and September 10th and have a limited capacity, each workshop begins at 10:30am and wraps up by 12:30pm. Attendees will leave with their arrangement, a recipe card, some small tips and tools for future creations, and a lot of joy.
10% of all proceeds from the workshops will go to support local Women’s Health Initiatives. We’ll provide everything you need, come as you are.
